Money Mike!
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) superstar, Mike Perry, is set to return to mixed martial arts (MMA) in two months (Sat., May 16, 2025), taking on former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star, Nate Diaz, in a triple-headliner for MVP MMA 1 inside Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, Calif., streaming exclusively on Netflix.
With a fight of this magnitude — and two proven draws — it’s no surprise that the paychecks were going to be pretty good. And according to Perry, this one tops all
of his.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani, “Platinum” confirmed that his upcoming bout against Diaz will be the biggest payday of his entire combat sports career.
“The next one is always the best one, man — and this is the next one,” Perry said. “I’ve been saying that for 20 years, I swear. The next one is the best one, and we just keep grinding and getting better.”
While Perry didn’t disclose the exact number, the purse will eventually become public knowledge, as the California State Athletic Commission releases official pay figures following events.
Still, the revelation is notable.
Perry has already secured multiple seven-figure deals during his BKFC run and even stepped into the boxing ring against Jake Paul — a man known for delivering massive paydays to his opponents.
So, for this fight with Diaz to top all of that? That says everything.
Whether it’s the star power of Diaz, the backing of Netflix, or simply the continued rise of Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions banner — one thing is clear:
Perry is getting paid … and getting paid very well.
