It was roughly one week ago that reports got out stating AEW is in no hurry to bring in former longtime WWE star Sheamus. He left the company following a refusal to restructure his contract, and the expectation was he would show up in AEW much sooner rather than later.
Nope!
He’s been in the gym getting even beefier in the meantime but he’s also out living his best life, as he told Telemundo Deportes in a recent interview:
“I’m just taking time off. I’m just chilling, I’m just relaxing. I’m on vacation. A long vacation.”
There are major names at AEW, like Claudio Castagnoli and Adam Copeland, who want him in the company whenever he’s ready for it. At 48-years-old, there’s only so much time for the industry veteran but he’s still in good enough shape to get another couple of years out of the business.
A long vacation should only help that.
