It was a wild week for the Phoenix Suns. Winning three of four this past week, the crowning moment, not just of their week but maybe their season happened less than 24 hours ago, when they beat the Thunder 108-105 with Devin Booker hitting a game-winning three with 0.7 seconds left.
Here are the main questions for Week 10 that we want your thoughts on:
A huge win over the West’s best
Phoenix picked up a signature win from their surprising season last night when they upset the Oklahoma City. The first time both teams faced off this
year, the Suns rallied late but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and company were too much for the Suns and the second-time Phoenix suffered one of their worst losses in franchise history in the Quarterfinals of the NBA Cup. After being down as much as 18, the Suns were able to rally and defeat the team with the best record in the league and snap an eight-game losing streak against the Thunder. Phoenix is now 3-2 against the Western Conference’s top two seeds.
Was last night the Suns’ best win of the season?
Competition Heating up
After a slew of games against some easier competition, the Suns will face some tough competition at the start of the week. Last night against the Thunder was a precursor. Facing the Houston Rockets tonight and the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Phoenix will be playing multiple teams in the top-four of their conferences this week. The Suns are 8-10 against teams over .500 this season.
What do you need to see from the Suns against their tougher competition this week to feel good about their longterm outlook?
Looking back
2025 was a crazy year for the Phoenix Suns. Kevin Durant started the year on the team, now he’s with the Houston Rockets. Collin Gillespie was at the end of the bench to start the year and now he’s a starter for the team. Mike Budenholzer out at head coach, Jordan Ott in. In the offseason, the Suns did a lot of retooling around Devin Booker that included adding lot of young talent.
How would you describe the team’s year and what would you say are some of the most significant changes in the way the team is constructed and plays compared to 12 months ago.
