The Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly added Jourdan Blake to their front office.
Let’s get to know Blake better:
Last job:
He was the director of recruiting logistics at Notre Dame for the past year.
Previous spots:
He worked in recruiting under Deion Sanders at Colorado and also was part of the recrutiing staffs at SMU and TCU.
Playing career:
He played cornerback at both Baylor and SMU
What’s his duties with the Raiders:
Blake announced he will be a player personnel assistant for the Silver and Black.
Why the Raiders would hire him:
Blake has a reputation as a sharp evaluator who has been part of some big program at the college level. He is still a young front-office type and will have time to grow in the NFL game. Clearly, Raiders general manager John Spytek and the ret of the front office sees a bright future for Blake. It will be interesting to see how he grows in the organization.
