Marcus Rashford continued his good form for Barcelona on Tuesday with two goals against Olympiacos in the Champions League.
The England international also won a penalty for Barcelona and says he’s enjoying
his football with Hansi Flick’s side.
“This is a very good team to enjoy your football in. I’m pleased with the performance today, especially in the second half. Even though it was obviously difficult for them with ten men, we used the spaces better and our timing was better,” he told UEFA.
Rashford was deployed in a more central role, due to injuries elsewhere in the squad, and says he doesn’t mind where he plays for Barcelona. He’s also looking forward to Sunday’s clash against Real Madrid.
“It could be my best performance with Barça. I’m ready to bring out the best in me in the team. I prefer to play on the wing, but I don’t care. I intend to help and do the best I can,” he added.
“The Clasico is a great game and that’s why I’ve come here, for this number of games. I am looking forward to it, I hope we win.”
Rashford will be hoping to start against Real Madrid, although Flick may have Ferran Torres and Raphinha available for the game and has some decisions to make regarding his line-up.
