After a field goal in the final seconds, the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football, 27-24, and fell to 2-2 on the season. Down 14 points in the fourth quarter, quarterback Aaron Rodgers led consecutive touchdown drives to give the Steelers a chance to win the game, but it was not enough. After the tough divisional loss on the road on a short week, the Steelers will have extra time to prepare for their Week 5 home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts
and Steelers come into the contest with identical 2-2 records. Indianapolis will have much less rest than the Steelers, since they traveled to London to take on the Washington Commanders in Week 4. Despite picking up a win in England, traveling back to the States and then to a hostile road environment just days later is worth monitoring. FanDuel Sportsbook is giving the Steelers the early edge in this one, as they are 1.5-pointhome favorites. You can get the Steelers to win at -132 here. The total for the contest is currently set at 43.5.
Last season, the Steelers defeated the Colts 27-20 on November 2nd. At the time, Indianapolis was at the top of the AFC standings. However, the Steelers’ defense came through as they forced six turnovers, while running back Jaylen rushed for a pair of touchdowns. With both teams a game back from their division leaders, a win in Week 5feels all the more important for both sides.
