The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing defensive end K.J. Henry to their practice squad, Mike Garafolo reports. Henry spent last year with the Cleveland Browns and was most recently with the San Francisco 49ers this past summer.
Henry was drafted in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders out of Clemson. He appeared in 10 games as a rookie, totaling 19 tackles and four tackles for loss. He spent time with both the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys in 2024 before landing
with the Browns in 2025, where he appeared in just one game. In 15 career games, Henry has 22 tackles, five tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks.
The Steelers placed defensive lineman Derrick Harmon on injured reserve due to a foot injury he sustained in last Thursday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns. This will lead to bigger roles for Sebastian Joseph-Day and Yahya Black in his absence.
