Chelsea Green defeated Liv Morgan to win the Crown Jewel championship today (Nov. 7) at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After the match was over and Triple H awarded Chelsea the extremely gaudy belt, Green cut a celebratory promo explaining why she deserved this accolade after 13 years of being told she isn’t good enough.
Morgan was a sore loser and attacked Green from behind. That brought out Money in the Bank contract holder Tiffany Stratton, of course.
As we’ve seen so many times in recent
weeks, the rest of the Judgment Day ran down to try to bail Morgan out of the ring and prevent Stratton’s cash-in. However, Chelsea fought them off this time, and Liv appeared to be stuck. That’s until Chelsea turned around right into a briefcase to the face by her close friend.
After betraying Green, Tiffy Time indeed completed her cash in, hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, and is now the new WWE women’s champion.
Did you like the way WWE paid off Stratton’s cash-in after weeks of teases? Give me your reaction to this title change in the comments below, Cagesiders.
