Bayern Munich had a rather quiet transfer window in 2026/27. Having made only three signings during the trasfer window, it may be concerning that Bayern is not taking the offensive route considering the multiple injury crises from past years. However, what they lack in quantity, they made up for with quality. The team purchased German international Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, Moroccan Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven and youngster Bara Sapoko Ndiaye from Gambinos Stars in Senegal.
Ndiaye had already been on loan since early 2026.
Following Bayern’s 3-1 preseason win against RB Leipzig, Aleksander Pavlović spoke about the new signings. The Bayern midfielder had nothing but praise for his fellow compatriot Brown and Saibari.
“Ismael Saibari and Nene Brown are both fantastic footballers and great people,” he said, per @iMiaSanMia.
“They both showed what they can do today. It’s a lot of fun playing with them. Now we need to recover well and then look ahead, taking things one game at a time and one training session at a time,” he declared.
Pavlović is certainly not overstating the value of these two players. Brown was phenomenal defensively and scored his first goal for the team tonight. Saibari, on the other hand, was brough on in the second half and proved to have a terrific connection with the team. The Moroccan set up Musiala to score his goal, making it 3-1.
Transfers were certainly the need of the hour in both attack and defense and Bayern made the right choice in procuring these two international stars.
