Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi has been named on the shortlist for the 2025 Golden Boy award.
The 18-year-old is the only Barcelona player on the list, with Lamine Yamal unable to be nominated as he is the current
holder.

Cubarsi is nominated after winning La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup titles last season.
He’s already a regular fixture for club and country, at the tender age of 18, but is likely to be an outsider for the award as they are rarely handed out to defenders.
