Barcelona continue to be linked with a move for Joao Cancelo, with a January move for the defender on the cards.
The latest update comes from Fabrizio Romano who says that Cancelo is well aware of Barcelona’s
interest and that the Catalan giants have been in touch again to talk about a possible transfer.
Barcelona are now discussing whether or not to go for Cancelo, while Inter remain interested in the Portugal international.
Barcelona’s interest in Cancelo has come as something of a surprise, as it was thought the club would try to sign a center-back in the January window.
However, it appears that Cancelo’s imminent availability has caught the Catalan giants’ eye and made them think about bringing him in for a second stint with the club.
Cancelo has also played for Inter before and seems eager to return to Europe after 18 months in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal.
