Now, it’s Shedeur Sanders’ chance to make one last impression on Todd Monken to try winning the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback job. He is expected to get the first half of action in the team’s second preseason game today against the Buffalo Bills.
Whether Sanders is truly a viable candidate for the starting job remains to be seen, but all he can do is focus on having a good performance. Deshaun Watson put up a decent effort in the team’s first preseason game and has looked marginally better
as camp has rolled along. He will also play the third quarter in this week’s game. Both quarterbacks are expected to play without many veterans supporting them, after a solid joint practice this past Thursday against the Bills. The same is expected from the Bills, in terms of veterans not really playing.
