Bayern Munich look unstoppable, both in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League. Vincent Kompany’s side is unbeaten in all competitions and maintains a 100%-win record. There are rumblings that the Bavarians
can go all the way and win the Champions League for the first time in six years, but the Belgian coach doesn’t want to get ahead of himself.
“I said very clearly before the first game that our dream is to be there and have a chance to win it,” Kompany declared (via Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “Winning the Champions League is very difficult. But now we’re in the middle of the competition and we have to focus on just winning the next game.”
The Rekordmeister winning Europe’s biggest trophy is not a far shout, and this team is still anticipating the return of Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies. This side is going to look like an all-timer.
Bayern Munich traveled to Cyprus to face a very feisty and game Pafos FC side in the Champions League and the game, well, went as expected.
The Bavarians dominated from start to finish and received another thoroughly dominant performance from the attacking group. And, yup, Harry Kane had a brace.
