Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford will make their “Grand Arrivals” tonight at Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, which is nothing more than an excuse to sail both combatants across a sea of adoring fight fans while thirsty media members (like me) grab as many photos as possible.
The festivities begin promptly at 9 p.m. ET in the embedded video above.
Alvarez will put his super middleweight title on the line
for Sat. night’s (Sept. 13) main event on Netflix, requiring “Bud” to move up two weight classes for their 168-pound showdown.
“I want Crawford to win, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen,” former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, told The Big Podcast. “I would like for it to happen, [but] this guy [Alvarez] is a hard puncher, he’s a smart fighter. I want to see it.”
