Even in the deadest part of the NFL offseason, there is still news to report concerning the Seattle Seahawks.
Nolan Teasley has been busy assembling his first staff after leaving his role as Seahawks assistant general manager to become the GM of the Minnesota Vikings. Last week it was confirmed that longtime Seahawks executive Trent Kirchner would be returning to his home state to work as one of Teasley’s assistant GMs, and now a Seahawks scout is also departing for Minnesota.
Azzaam Kapadia, who’s
been with the Seahawks since 2023 and has been a scout since 2025, is the latest Seahawks addition to Teasley’s staff.
Kapadia started out as a scouting intern in his first season with the Seahawks, then elevated to scouting assistant in 2024, followed by his final Seahawks title as a Pro Scout. The University of Virginia alum had prior NFL stints with the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns.
Teasley was hired by the Vikings at the end of May to replace Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Minnesota opted to wait until after the NFL Draft to hire a new GM, hence the Seahawks find themselves losing front office and executive roles in the middle of June. It’s possible there may be more to come for the Super Bowl champions.
Best wishes to Kapadia as he continues to move on up in the NFL world!
