In a game that could decide the fate of the AFC North, the Cleveland Browns are but a footnote versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. A big chunk of the country will get to watch the Steelers come to town to face the Browns, with QB Shedeur Sanders hoping to stake a claim to the starting job moving forward and the Baltimore Ravens rooting for the home team.
Cleveland has surprisingly controlled the matchup with Pittsburgh on their home turf recently, but is one injury away from having QB Bailey Zappe at the helm.
Injuries have been a big story in the run-up to Week 17 and could continue on what is currently a rainy day off Lake Erie.
Late Saturday night came news that TE Harold Fannin Jr. would be a full go but a number of other questionable players were still in the balance for both teams. With 90 minutes to go until kickoff, we now have the inactive reports for Week 17:
Browns Inactives
- QB Dillon Gabriel
- CB Myles Harden
- OL Kendrick Green
- OL Jeremiah Byers
- WR Jamari Thrash
- TE David Njoku
- DT Sam Kamara
Gabriel, Harden, and Kamara were all listed as questionable for the game. Fannin, Teller, and Sampson are all active despite being questionable heading into Week 17.
Steelers Inactives
- LB TJ Watt
- WR Calvin Austin III
- CB Brandin Echols
- CB James Pierre
- OL Isaaac Seumalo
- QB Will Howard (3QB)
- RB Kaleb Johnson
- DL Logan Lee
