Enzo Maresca has played down the idea of playing both Cole Palmer and Estêvão together, at least from the start of a game, but with Palmer having been injured most of the season, that’s not really a decision
that has had to be even made thus far. (They’ve started just one game together, our 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford.)
But now Palmer’s back — and getting more fit — so that’s an idea that will have to be revisited with more regularity. And for the WAGNH Community, that’s an idea that warrants no caution. The answer to the “why not both” meme is always yes.
The rest of the preferred lineup contains no surprises, with Alejandro Garnacho (47%) making way for Palmer, and Malo Gusto (51%) and Josh Acheampong (43%) back on the bench for what’s turning out to be a must-win match. Marc Guiu (20%) and Jorel Hato (15%) were the only others in double digits.
4-2-3-1 (80%)
Sánchez (96%) | Cucurella (85%), Chalobah (86%), Fofana (76%), James (88%) | Enzo (87%), Santos (71%) | Neto (72%), Palmer (90%), Estêvão (73%) | João Pedro (75%)
