A massive day in Knoxville just got a whole lot bigger — President Donald Trump is set to attend Tennessee-Texas on Saturday. Clay Travis had the initial report and it’s now being confirmed elsewhere.
Austin Price reports that the Secret Service has been in town doing prep work ahead of the weekend.
President Trump has attended several college football games since becoming the Commander in Chief. Most recently he attended the National Championship, where Indiana defeated Miami in Miami back in January. It will be his third game that he’s attended during his second term. Trump appeared at six games during his first term.
Tennessee-Texas was already at the center of the college football world with College Gameday on campus. Gameday will do two hours outside the stadium before moving inside of Neyland to finish the show and do the game picks.
Kickoff is set for noon ET on ABC. Texas is currently a 4.5 point favorite.
