The home of WrestleMania XIV becomes a key stop on the road to this year’s WrestleMania as Boston’s TD Garden hosts this week’s Raw. On Sunday, Raw GM Adam Pearce previewed the show, featuring an all-star lineup, a title match, and major championship implications.
The Card:
- Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
- Je’von Evans vs. Grayson Waller
- Non-title: The Usos (World Tag Team Champions) vs. The Vision
- Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Kabuki Warriors
Special appearances by: World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, and Brock Lesnar.
Three weeks after losing the Intercontinental title, “Dirty” Dom aims to prove his loss to Penta was a fluke — not a curse from Danhausen.
Meanwhile, Danhausen’s latest spell landed on Waller, a bad sign as he faces the surging Evans.
Logan Paul and Austin Theory, at the urging of Paul Heyman, look to re-establish The Vision’s grip on the red brand by beating the Usos to set up a World Tag Team Championship match, presumably in just over four weeks in Las Vegas at Mania.
Bayley, on the Mania bubble after falling to AJ Lee, gets back on the horse as she and Valkyria try to earn a shot at the women’s tag titles at this year’s two-night extravaganza.
Lynch addresses her attack last week on Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee, while Lesnar responds after being laid out by Oba Femi.
After Punk dropped Reigns last Monday for calling him old, tensions may boil over on Netflix, though Pearce vows to “do everything in my power to keep my WrestleMania main event intact.”
Good luck with that, Pearce.
