Noche UFC 4went down last night (Sat., Sept. 12, 2026) inside Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, which saw Jean Silva defeat Jose Delgado via third-round submission (see it again here). In the co-main event of the evening, Brandon Moreno defeated Joseph Morales via split decision, while Tommy McMillen secured an impressive unanimous decision win over Marwan Rahiki.

Who He Should Face Next: Aljamain Sterling
Silva has championship fight aspirations, but I just don’t think that
is in the cards after defeating an unranked foe. While it wasan impressive win, I would like to see him take on and defeat a top-ranked foe before we start thinking title fight. He was initially set to face Yair Rodriguez at this event before “El Pantera” bowed out. I still waned to re-visit this fight, but Rodriguez has not proven to be the most reliable man in recent years. Aljamain Sterling called “Lord” out for a scrap, and it kind of makes sense. Sterling is ranked No. 4 at the moment and on a two-fight win streak. Lets book it to see who gets closer to a title shot.

Who He Should Face Next: Kyoji Horiguchi
Moreno was able to snap his two-fight skid after defeating a game Joseph Morales via split decision. It was the former UFC Flyweight champion’s first win in over a year, so it should do wonders for his confidence moving forward. Moreno is still ranked No. 3 in the division, so he deserves someone ranked in the Top 5, which is why a fight against Horiguchi (No. 5) makes sense. Horiguchi saw his eight-fight unbeaten streak go down the drain in his most recent fight against Manel Kape, so he will be hungry to get back on track. This is a great fight between two former champions looking to get back to another title fight.
Winner: Tommy McMillen
Who He Should Face Next: Jamall Emmers
McMillen won his third straight UFC fight, as well as his third straight $100,000 post fight bonus award. Afterward he revealed that he would like to fight at the end of the year in Las Vegas, Nevada, which would be his fourth fight of 2026. Perhaps a fight against someone like Emmers is in order. Like McMillen, Emmers has a knack for getting things done on the feet, winning three of his last four fights via knockout. Emmers is currently on a three-fight win streak and was last seen knockout out Lerryann Douglas last month (see it here). I see an all-out war again if these two get matched up.

Who She Should Face Next:Silva vs. Cong winner for the title
Grasso racked up her second straight win after she defeated No. 2 ranked, Manon Fiorot, via unanimous decision. Natalia Silva and Wang Cong are set to collide for the vacant Flyweight title left behind by Valentina Shcvchenko at UFC 332, and Grasso should face the winner. Shevchenko could be out for an extended period of time (more on that here), and Grasso is the clear next woman in line. Let’s not complicate this by making her fight someone else.
Winner: Curtis Blaydes
Who He Should Face Next: Vitor Petrino ? ? ?
Blaydes got back on the winning track by defeating Waldo Cortes-Acosta via unanimous decision. He should overtake the No. 5 spot, but will find himself in an unusual spot as far who we should face next. Alexander Volkov (No. 2) is set to face Rizvan Kuniev next, whom Blaydes has already defeated. Serghei Pavlovich, (No. 3) is on a three-fight win streak and has a win over Blaydes, but that was over three years ago, and I’d like to see Serghei take on Josh Hokit (No. 4) next. Vitor Petrino is currently ranked No. 8 at the moment and is scorching hot with four straight wins after making the move up to Heavyweight. It’s not out of the ordinary for UFC matchmakers to make fights that may not make sense rankings wise, so this is a fight that could be a possibility next for lack of better options. Blaydes has been alternating wins and losses over his last six fights, so he hasn’t exactly been consistent enough with the wins to turn down a fight like this or making demands.
Winner: David Martinez
Who He Should Face Next: Mario Bautista
All Martinez does is win. The talented Bantamweight won his eleventh straight fight and remained undefeated inside the Octagon (4-0) after defeating Dan Ige via unanimous decision. Currently ranked No. 8 in the division, Martinez could clime a spot or two come next week. As for his next challenge, perhaps a showdown against Mario Bautista makes the most sense at the moment. Bautista (No. 5) is riding a two-fight win streak and is 8-2 in his last 10 UFC fights. Sitting at No. 6 is Corey Sandhagen and has lost two straight, while Aiemann Zahabi — who is sitting at No. 7 is coming off a knockout loss at the hands of Sean O’Malley.
