The Los Angeles Rams host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8 of the NFL season. This is a battle for L.A. game with each team representing Los Angeles, but neither team has started out hot in 2026 making this game perhaps not quite as attention grabbing as was expected going into the year.
The Chargers are winless. The Rams are struggling and trying to reach a .500 record. Even still, it’s NFL football and you aren’t going to want to miss this one and here’s our how to watch guide!

the Chargers are coming off of their bye week, so this seems as good a chance as any for the Chargers to correct some of their early season struggles and get right against the Rams. If the offense and team continue to struggle after the bye week, it’s likely some of the coaches and players find themselves off the team.
The Rams are coming off a nice win over the Las Vegas Raiders, but with a 3-4 record, the Rams really haven’t proved they’ll contend in 2026. A win today and a 4-4 record going into Week 9 is really what the Rams need to stay relevant. A loss would be for disturbing for Sean McVay, the team and the fanbase.
