The Wisconsin Badgers continue to add pieces, with the latest being Australian forward Isaac Riddle, the school announced on Thursday.
Riddle, a 6-8 forward from Golden Grove, Australia, is considered one of the better prospects in Australia for his age group. He helped lead Australia to gold at the 2023 FIBA Under-16 Asia Championship and silver at the 2025 FIBA Under-17 Oceania Cup.
In the Oceania Cup, Riddle averaged 14.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and shot 67.4 percent from the field, which ranked second
among all players competing, per UW Athletics.
He currently plays for the Center Of Excellence in the NBL1 East League in Australia, and will be joining the Badgers later this summer.
“Isaac comes in as one of the best young prospects in Australia with terrific potential as he goes down the path of development,” head coach Greg Gard said. “For our program it’s a very good time to bring in a budding star from their national team and help Isaac with the next steps in his career. His length and athleticism are obvious, but his desire to grow and expand his game is impressive. We’re looking forward to getting to work with him in June.”
Riddle is the latest Badgers player with Australian ties, and now becomes the eighth newcomer to join the roster this offseason.
