The Philadelphia Eagles are now 6-2 heading into their Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers (5-2-1) on Monday Night Football.
These teams have grown pretty familiar with each other over the past
year — they played each other in Week 1 of the 2024 season down in Brazil, and then again in Philadelphia during the playoffs. Both of those games ended with the Eagles claiming victory, but it’s a new season and new teams that will face off.
This is the first time Saquon Barkley will ever play in the historic Lambeau Field, and it’ll be a new environment for Jalen Hurts who last played in Green Bay during the empty stadium COVID season. While the atmosphere might be new to most of the Eagles players, many of their opponents are very well known, including Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons.
Despite Parsons leaving the Cowboys and the NFC East, he’s still a factor for Lane Johnson and the Eagles offensive line — and even though they aren’t guaranteed to face him twice a year like when he was in Dallas, they could still very well still see him twice if their paths cross again in the postseason.
The Eagles still firmly hold the No. 1 seed in the NFC, and a win over the Packers will give them a slightly bigger lead at the top. Especially coming out of a bye week, Philly’s offense is going to want to make a statement and create some momentum to help carry them through the back half of the season.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
