For those of you who have desperate decisions to make in fantasy football, one of two big questions for Week 10’s matchup between the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets was whether Justin Fields or Tyrod
Taylor would be the home team’s starting quarterback. The other question surrounds Cleveland’s star rooking linebacker, Carson Schwesinger, and his ability to overcome a high ankle sprain in an amazingly short amount of time .
We already have updates that WRs Garrett Wilson and Cedric Tillman, along with TE Harold Fannin Jr., are expected to play today, but nothing on Schwesinger and HC Aaron Glenn has kept Fields vs Taylor like a very important, guarded secret.
Until now:
The Jets quarterback situation got messy quickly. The team’s owner said some not-so-flattering things about Fields, and many expected Taylor to take over in Week 8, before New York’s bye week. Then, Taylor got hurt, and Fields led the Jets to an upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, with the team scoring 39 points.
It is still possible we could see both quarterbacks on Sunday but it looks like the former Ohio State Buckeyes starter will get the first snap, at least.
