What is the story about?
The Steelers opened up two slots on their practice squad Tuesday, with the team announcing it has released linebacker Jacoby Windmon and running back Raheem Blackshear.
Windmon was signed to the practice squad — his second stint with the team — on Oct. 8. Blackshear had been on the practice squad a day longer, joining Oct. 7.
The cuts come the same day the Steelers worked out four players: Safeties Eddie
Jackson, Vonn Bell, and Darrick Forrest, as well as offensive tackle Jack Driscoll (per KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson).
Forrest has reportedly signed with the team’s practice squad, but Pittsburgh hasn’t announced any official signings yet.
