The Jays signed Ryan Borucki to a minor league contract. Ryan was a 15th-round draft pick in the 2012 draft for the Jays. He made it to the majors in 2018, making 17 starts for the Jays. He pitched in five seasons with the Jays and then was traded to the Mariners for Tyler Keenan (yeah, I don’t remember him either. He never made it past New Hampshire).
Borucki went to the Cubs, Pirates, and now back to the Jays. In eight seasons, he’s pitched in 183 games, 21 starts, with a 4.36 ERA. This season he got
into 35 games with the Pirates, with a 5.28 ERA.
A lot of stuff would have to happen before Borucki would make it to the Jays (and little of it good), this season. But you never know. He has been assigned to the Bisons.
This is great:
The Jays 2026 season schedule is out. The season starts in Toronto with a series against the A’s, and then the Rockies are in town. Then it is off to Chicago to play the White Sox. It is a pretty soft schedule until we host the Dodgers next. Our first in-division series is when the Red Sox come to town on April 26th for a four-game series.
Today’s lineup. Ernie Clement is in there.
