The big news in the Lazio camp is that Maurizio Sarri picked Matteo Guendouzi despite the midfielder’s impending move to Fenerbahçe. With no strikers available, Matteo Cancellieri draws the assignment
up front with Gustav Isaksen replacing him on the wing. And of course keep an eye on our old friend Danilo Cataldi at the base of midfield; it’s still wild that Daniele Pradè decided he wasn’t worth the €4 million transfer fee (plus salary, I suppose) this summer.
Paolo Vanoli’s also made some waves with his pick at striker. It’s Roberto Piccoli again instead of Moise Kean. My guess is that it’s related to the Moose having some time off recently to attend to a personal matter and that he’s working himself back to fitness and focus, but who knows with this busted-ass team? Anyways, Robin Gosens is back at leftback in place of Luca Ranieri. Manor Solomon starts from the bench.
