What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing wide receiver Levi Wentz, the team announced.
Wentz spent the 2025 college football season with the Kansas Jayhawks, catching 16 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft and was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. He began his college career at Old Dominion.
Wentz is a Pittsburgh native, having graduated from Pine-Richland.
In coordination with Wentz’ signing, the Steelers released linebacker Daylan Carnell.
