Well, Rumblers, we’ve a bit of a rare one on deck this evening. Strange enough, the Kansas City Chiefs do actually play primetime games away from Arrowhead Stadium, and tonight they’re in the Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks.
Buffalo Bills fans need zero reminders about rooting interests here: Tonight you’re part of the 12th Man in an attempt to hand the Chiefs their first loss of the season. Back in January, this is a game that wouldn’t have held the same amount of intrigue, and for sure wouldn’t have seemed
favorable to Kansas City. Yet here we are, with the Chiefs undefeated at 5-0, and the Seahawks a middling 3-3.
With the Bills on their bye, all the fan base can do this weekend is cheer on the enemy of their enemy. That makes Seattle your favorite team this evening (please don’t wear ugly uniforms, Seahawks).
However, the reverse jinx is also an option:
It sure would be great for the Bills if their bye started with a loss for the New England Patriots, and ended (essentially, because who cares about that NFC East Monday Night Football game?) with the Chiefs losing in primetime. Is everything coming up Milhouse?!
With that, here’s your open thread for Week 7 of Sunday Night Football. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
