Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha suffered a knee injury vs. Hamburger SV over the weekend and will miss Germany’s upcoming games against Switzerland and Ghana per Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg:

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that he suffered a lateral ligament injury in his knee during the match against Hamburger SV and will be out for several weeks. #BVB 🇩🇪
BVB released a statement regarding Nmecha on its website:
Midfielder Felix Nmecha suffered a lateral collateral ligament injury in his knee during the Bundesliga match against Hamburger SV last Saturday (3:2) and will be out for several weeks.
Due to his injury, the 25-year-old will also not be available to the German national team for the upcoming international matches against Switzerland (27.03.) and Ghana (30.03.).
In addition to Nmecha, the two BVB defenders Nico Schlotterbeck and Waldemar Anton have been nominated for the DFB team.
Per Bild’s Julian Agardi, VfB Stuttgart winger Chris Führich will replace Nmecha:
