As the 2025 NFL season winds down, the Dallas Cowboys won’t be home for the holidays. Playing for pride, the Cowboys travel to Northwest Stadium to take on the Washington Commanders on Christmas. After
the final injury report of the week, here’s what we know about who will be available in tomorrow’s game.
Today, the Cowboys announced that linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (concussion) will not play against Washington. He suffered a concussion on Sunday; therefore, it was unlikely that he would play with such a quick turnaround in a short week. Tyler Guyton (ankle) was also ruled out of tomorrow’s game. Guyton hasn’t played since November, making it the fourth game he’ll miss with the injury.
Ryan Flournoy (knee) did not return to practice today after being listed as a DNP yesterday. Officially, he has been ruled questionable. Tyler Booker (ankle) was limited today and has been designated as questionable, as has Quinnen Williams with a neck injury. Javonte Williams (neck) was upgraded to full participation today and does not carry an injury designation going into the game, and will play versus the Commanders.
As for Washington, they confirmed on Wednesday what many had suspected – quarterbacks Marcus Mariota (hand) and Jayden Daniels (elbow) will not play tomorrow. This means that Josh Johnson will get the Christmas Day start with Jeff Driskel serving as his backup.
