Good morning Gang Green Nation!
The New York Jets got terrible news two days ago when Alijah Vera-Tucker tore his triceps. Surgery for the injury will result in Vera-Tucker missing the entire 2025 season. With Vera-Tucker set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season, his future with the Jets organization is now in jeopardy. That’s not great, but the rest of the Jets roster is a welcome picture of health heading into the Jets’ season opener this Sunday. Every starter besides Vera-Tucker is healthy,
and among the backups only Chukwuma Okorafor is listed as questionable on the injury report. This is likely to be as healthy as the Jets will be all season. Hopefully that will be enough for the Jets to pull off a mild upset over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
