Darren Till thinks the “Rousey vs. Carano” fight card is “trash.”
Then again, the former UFC welterweight title challenger believes he can fill the 61,000 Anfield Stadium in Liverpool with a fight against … Mike Perry.
“It could be a stadium fight,” Till told MMA Fighting. “It’s a massive fight, it really is. If Mike comes back [to BKFC], that still has to be the plan. That fight is eight years in the making. Yeah, it’s got to be done. Me and Mike have to fight.”
Till signed with BKFC just as Perry
left to compete against Nate Diaz on May 16 on Netflix.
“It’s just a mongoloid fight, isn’t it? Just a pair of f*cking Teletubbies fighting each other,” Till added. “Nate Diaz can’t string a sentence together, neither can Mike. It’s trash. American trash. Just trash. Everyone on that card is trash, actually. In fact, it’s a full card of mongoloids. Trash.”
Speaking of trash, Till is booked to fight Aaron Chalmers at BKFC 90 on May 30.
The 33-year-old “Gorilla” parted ways with UFC back in early 2023 and has spent the last three years bouncing around the international circuit, racking up fights against shopworn UFC vets and self-proclaimed influencers for promotions like Misfits Boxing and Social Knockouts.
So much for taking a stand against bare knuckle boxing.
