World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns came to Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn this week with a lot to address, from WWE Champion Sami Zayn and their match at Crown Jewel, to The 946 continuing to wreak havoc on The Bloodline. Plus, the looming shadow of Mr. Money in the Bank right now, Penta.
Zayn was the most pressing issue, and he made his presence felt right away so they could once again verbally square off. Reigns took credit for all his success of late.
If the Tribal Chief didn’t bring him into
The Bloodline, he wouldn’t be champion, he wouldn’t be making all this money, he probably wouldn’t even be with the company anymore. Hell, when Reigns found him, he was Johnny Knoxville’s bitch doing Jackass things.
Zayn slapped him right down with no hesitation. That match he had with Knoxville at WrestleMania 38 is one everyone still remembers but they damn sure don’t remember Reigns’ match that night, yet another battle with Brock Lesnar. In fact, the thing people remember most about Roman over the past five years is his getting hit by a chair.
And who was the one swinging it? Sami.
The big response? Reigns called him a ho, and said when he’s done with “your bitch ass” at Crown Jewel, no one will think about Zayn anymore.
This was a win for Sami in my book.
