Ryan Garcia says there is an “offer on the table” for a fight with Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz, who called Garcia out on Saturday night following a knockout win over Nestor Bravo.
Garcia had earlier in the night predicted that Cruz would lose to Bravo, which was never a good bet, but was featured on the DAZN broadcast, which hinted early toward a potential Garcia vs Cruz discussion to come should Pitbull win, as he did.
Cruz (29-3-2, 19 KO) has the interim WBC title at 140 and would have to go up to 147 to face Garcia (26-2, 21 KO), who just wrecked Conor Benn inside of two rounds on September 12 in Las Vegas.
The 28-year-old Garcia would have significant height, reach, speed, and power edges over Cruz on paper.
Garcia also recalled offering Cruz fights in the past, and says if it’s not accepted for December, he won’t deal with him again:
