Conor McGregor might be the quickest healer of all time. After being less than two weeks removed from having surgery on the torn ACL he suffered at UFC 329 it appears “Notorious” is on the fast track back to full health.
The last month has not been easy for McGregor to say the least. After spending five years on the sidelines following his brutal leg injury at UFC 264 the former UFC double champion made his return to action last month at UFC 329. McGregor faced Max Holloway in a main event rematch,
but it lasted just 69 seconds after McGregor blew his knee out in the opening seconds of the fight. “Notorious” has been trying to recover — as well as save some face — ever since then.
On Friday, McGregor posted a video clip to Instagram to show fight fans how his post-surgery rehab is coming along. “Notorious” has already surprised many with some of the workouts he’s been doing, but it looks like McGregor is taking his efforts to the next level. After all, the Irish superstar is hoping to make at least one more walk to the Octagon in 2027 to fight out his current UFC contract and prove he can still win at the highest level.

“I am currently undergoing the best and most advanced training in California,” wrote McGregor. “My leg, 8 days after surgery, has the ability to activate, and with full straightening of the leg, my entire quad (unheard of 8 days post op). We are STILL HERE!
“God bless all on the journey of recovery, and remember, it is not for you or I to judge others!”
