It’s officially NBA Draft season, which means teams have began conducting predraft workouts with prospects from the 2026 draft class.
The Washington Wizards, who own the No. 1 pick, have the power of choice with their first-round selection. While many believe it’s a two-horse race between AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson to be the No. 1 pick — Dybantsa is -360 on FanDuel Sportsbook to be the No. 1 pick — the Wizards will likely host other prospects in that range, including Cameron Boozer and Caleb
Wilson.
Washington also owns two second-round picks — No. 51 (via Minnesota) and No. 60 (via Oklahoma City) — in this draft. And so far, the only reported predraft workouts the Wizards have hosted include prospects mocked in the late second-round, undrafted free agent range.
