The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday and then made one roster move yesterday. Backup C/G Julian Good-Jones was elevated from the practice squad and he will be active today over undrafted free agent rookie guard Tanoa Togiai. Good-Jones was the No. 2 center in training camp, in front of sixth-round rookie Matt Gulbin. Nick Allegretti’s calf injury on the second day of training camp changed that, and his extended absence gave Good-Jones and Gulbin more
time to work with the first team.
The Commanders have two WRs inactive for today’s game, and they’re both healthy scratches. Treylon Burks and Luke McCaffrey spend Week 1 on the sidelines. This also means that Jaylin Lane will likely be handling punt and kick returns vs the Eagles.
Rookie QB Athan Kaliakmanis will be inactive for his first NFL game, but he has been designated as the team’s emergency 3rd QB. DT Ricky Barber, and rookie G Tanoa Togiai round out the group of inactives this week.
