Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to terms with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to become their next head coach, replacing the fired Pete Carroll.
The hire will not be made official until after next Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Seahawks and the New England Patriots. But, Kubiak and the Raiders is a marriage that is expected to happen.
How do you feel about it?
By all accounts, this is a promising, strong hire by the Silver and Black.
Kubiak is widely considered one of the top
targets in this 10-hire coaching cycle. the Raiders were focusing on hiring a young offensive-minded first-time head coach. Kubiak, 38, checks those boxes.
You never know how any coaching hire will work out and some times, strong coordinators do not translate to becoming successful head coaches. So, there are no guarantees about Kubiak’s future.
But we want to do know — you are you feeling about this?
