We are now less than 24 hours away from the Kentucky Wildcats returning to Kroger Field for the first time in over a month as they welcome the Texas Longhorns to Lexington.
In what has become a fairly important matchup for both programs, the Cats will enter Saturday night as the healthier of the two teams.
Texas will be without two starting offensive linemen in center Cole Hutson and left guard Connor Stroh, which could make a huge impact for a talented UK defensive line.
Meanwhile, backup defensive
tackle Maraad Watson is questionable to play.
The main factor for Kentucky will be that they are finally healthy in the secondary, as DJ Waller will officially return to the field for Brad White’s defense.
Can the Cats pull off the upset? Returning Waller to the fold definitely helps the potential case for it to happen.
Almost time for kickoff.
