The Atlanta Braves and their red hot offense will be facing another top ten offense in the month of July in the San Diego Padres. Both teams will be bringing in starters who have struggled as of late on the mound.
The Braves have scored the most runs in MLB over the month of July, but Bryce Elder, who is starting tonight, has an ERA of 11.00 in his last four starts. The Padres have been a top ten in runs scored as well, and are in a similar situation with their starter. JP Sears made his season debut
four starts ago, against Atlanta, and has a an ERA of 5.03 thus far this season.
This game has the makings of an offensive shootout. Here is to hoping the Braves come out on top.
