What is the story about?
Following the game, let’s look at how each player changed their stock. Keep in mind that information can be hard to come by for players, depending on their performance or their position. If anyone else can find info, please post in the comments.
That all being said, here is the information found for the players.
The Players:
OL Kage Casey (Boise State)
- Synopsis: Casey had a pretty strong showing at the Senior Bowl, even if he wasn’t dominant. The consensus seemed to be that he stood out as a guard, but at tackle was more above-average. Due to the lack of tackles there, he seemed to spend more time at tackle than guard, but scouts came away pleased with his performance.
- Stock Report: UP
DB Chris Johnson (San Diego State)
- Synopsis: It sounds like Chris Johnson was doing Chris Johnson things all week at the Senior Bowl. He was consistent and made plays while displaying sound technique. Johnson appears to be rising up draft boards for those who weren’t as familiar with him coming in.
- Stock Report: UP
TE John Michael Gyllenborg (Wyoming)
- Synopsis: Gyllenborg definitely has some kind of NFL future coming out of the Senior Bowl. He showed off his size, blocking ability, and pass-catching ability, turning a few heads in the process. The speed gave him an edge as well compared to other TEs. Unfortunately, he did have a bad drop in the game that led to an interception, which drops him down a peg.
- Stock Report: SLIGHTLY UP
