Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026.
- Paddy Pimblett running out of options for next fight: ‘There’s only Ilia Topuria left, really’: If UFC manages to drop the Pimblett vs. Topuria bag, I’ll be extremely disappointed.
- Charles Oliveira banks on ‘selling power’ to move him ahead of Arman Tsarukyan for title shot: Too many worthy contenders is a good problem to have … but Arman is definitely next if there’s any justice.
- Gum?!? UFC Edmonton athlete reveals massive $10k fine for alleged nicotine pouch: If I were Jasmine Jasudavicius, I would absolutely be appealing the fine.
Insomnia
All of a sudden, Payton Talbott vs. Farid Basharat would be a really marketable fight …
Jim Miller working the mitts! I always admire how Miller uses his left leg so effectively but differently than most lefties. He’s knocked a lot of people to the floor with that inside low kick.
There’s something about boxing exchanges in slow motion …
Liz Carmouche fought for UFC gold twice and is still a top contender at 42 years of age — an underrated vet if there ever was one.
Speaking of longevity: Manny Pacquiao’s speed and athleticism at 47 is CRAZY!
Want to rip calf kicks without worrying (too much) about breaking your feet? Middleweight dark horse Yousri Belgaroui has some advice.
Slips, rips, and KO clips
Brother, your hands are supposed to fight the choke.
Nice reload on the left hook! The other guy tried his best to survive, credit to him.
Left kick and left hand pairing on display:
Random Land
… that’s substantially more weight than I’ve ever lifted in any form.
