TNA has had a hectic few weeks with comings and goings. The latest departure is Tommy Dreamer. The ECW legend was a jack of all trades in a backstage sense with hands in producing, creative, and talent relations during his time in TNA.
Dreamer announced his departure from TNA during the Busted Open podcast. He got emotional explaining that he is a good breaker-upper. After a great conversation with TNA president Carlos Siva, they mutually agreed to part ways. Dreamer has no ill will or malice. He hopes
TNA thrives to be the best it can be.
Dreamer credits TNA getting him through difficult moments in life, such as the death of his mother and the COVID pandemic. Sometimes, he would drive 15 hours to work, because he loved the people in TNA. Dreamer just wanted to be a wrestler, and circumstances thrust him into other positions. He did the best he could. Dreamer thanked the fans for supporting TNA.
With managerial and roster changes, it’s starting to look like Slammiversary will be the start of a new chapter in the story of TNA. Slammiversary takes place on Sunday, June 28 from Boston, Massachusetts. The main event is Mike Santana defending the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth.
