It has been an anxiety-including weekend, many fingernails lost to biting, but the Tigers pulled through and made it to the postseason. While they didn’t do it as Division winners like we had hoped (and
had assumed would be the case for much of the season. The Guardians took the AL Central after a truly wild push at the end of the season (something Tigers fans should remember well from last season). And the Tigers will have to brace themselves to face the Guardians again, because they’ll be seeing their division rivals again starting Tuesday for the Wild Card series.
If you’re feeling a little baffled by all the rankings and seeds, then we’ve got you covered for the Wild Card lineup.
If you’re looking at that schedule and thinking, “What the actual heck is up with that schedule? How am I supposed to watch those games?” Well, we should have seen this coming when the Yankees and Red Sox got involved in the discussion, shouldn’t we? We’ll be covering it all here, though, so that’s something you can look forward to!
