Bayern Munich are back at it again, following the conclusion of the September international break. The Bavarians first play against Hamburg in the Bundesliga, then face reigning Europa Conference League and Club World Cup champions Chelsea. Nicolas Jackson, loaned from the Londoners, is excited to face not only his parent club, but other big teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal FC (can you really call them a big club?)
“Yes, and I love it,” Jackson said upon realizing who Bayern will be playing
in November (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “These are the challenges you dream of as a kid: playing in the biggest stadiums, against the strongest teams. It’s hugely motivating. I can’t wait. We respect all the teams, but we’re not afraid of anyone.”
Bayern has gotten off to a good start in all competitionss, but will need to tighten a few things up if they are to compete with some of Europe’s best teams.
