The Hoosiers are led by Heisman Trophy winner, redshirt junior quarterback Fernando Mendoza (3,581 passing yards, 41 touchdowns, six interceptions on a 73.0 completion percentage) and their No. 12-ranked rushing offense that puts out 218.3 rushing yards per game. On defense, Indiana has only allowed an astonishing 11.1 points per game (second-least in the country).
As for the Hurricanes, sixth-year redshirt senior quarterback Carson Beck has collected 3,349 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions on a 73.3 completion percentage. Miami also has a polarizing defense that only gives up 14.0 points per game (fifth-least in the nation).
