The NFC North is still up for grabs as three teams vie for the top spot. The Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) are a half-game ahead of the Chicago Bears (9-4), who are a game up on the Detroit Lions (8-5). If
Chicago beats the Cleveland Browns today, then no matter what happens in the Packers game against the Denver Broncos, the game next week between the Bears and Packers will again be for first place in the division.
The playoff probability from NFL.com has the Bears at 61% right now. A win over the Browns gives them a 70% chance to make the postseason, while a loss drops it to 43%.
It goes without saying that the Bears could use the two teams ahead of them in the wildcard race to lose, and of course, it’ll help the Bears if the Packers lose.
We’ll update the NFC playoff picture after the games are concluded, so check back to see where the Bears end up once the Week 15 dust settles.
