The Indianapolis Colts released their Friday injury report today ahead of week 7 of the NFL season against the Minnesota Vikings.
Cornerback Sauce Gardner (ribs) had been ruled OUT for Sundays game against the Vikings. With Gardner out the Colts have an interesting choice to make at corner. The most likely move is to replace Gardner with Cam Taylor-Britt on the outside. However they may need to shuffle further if Walley cannot go too.
Tight end Tyler Warren (groin) has been ruled OUT of Sundays game against the Vikings. With Warren out expect a bigger rotation at tight end with Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree and Will Mallory getting more than normal snaps.
Linebacker CJ Allen (ankle) has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Vikings. Allen injured his ankle in practice yesterday causing him to be limited and unable to practice today. Allen was spotted today at practice wearing a walking boot. It looks more than likely that Allen misses this weeks game. Fellow linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin) has also been listed as QUESTIONABLE. Boettcher managed a full practice on Thursday but missed both other reduces. The linebacker very this week looks shaky so there could be a practice squad call up for Germaine Pratt this week.
Punter Rigoberto Sanchez (foot) has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for this Sundays game against the Vikings. Sanchez had not practiced all weeek and likely highly likely to misss this weeks game. If Sanchez cannot play then expect a practice squad promotion for Thomas Moorstead.
