Skye Nicolson returned to action earlier today (Sat., Aug. 23, 2025) to face Urvashi Singh for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental super bantamweight title inside the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia on the undercard of Jake Paul’s MVP Prospects 14 event.
The 29-year Australian boxer was looking to secure her second straight win after losing her WBC women’s featherweight title to Tiara Brown earlier this year, as she recently defeated Carla Camila Campos Gonzales via TKO just last month. And
Nicolson once against wasted little time reminding everyone that talent she possess, stopping Singh in the second round with a sneaky shot to the liver.
After a delayed reaction to the left hand, Singh walked away in visible pain. Upon seeing her foe drop her hands, Nicolson followed her and landed a three-punch combo that put her down to the canvas proving that, as the saying goes, you must protect yourself at all times.
With the win Nicolson improves to 13-1 as a professional and wins her second title in as many divisions. Afterward, she revealed that while she does feel great at 122 pounds she intends to move back up to 126 in hopes of securing a rematch against Brown in an attempt to get her belt back.
